Prayer for my sister

But last night I got a call from my brother in law concerning my sister that has cancer.  She was unresponsive yesterday morning and they could not get her to come around so they called 911.  She is in the hospital.  She was terribly dehydrated, and still has little nuerlogical control.  Her motor skills are not working at the moment.  I hope today we can learn more about what is going on..

I have spent most of the night sitting here just thinking about the miracle she has been in our lives.  when they found the first tumor when she was only 10, they did not give her much of a chance of living a long life.  Since then she has had numerous brain surgeries to remove more tumors. surgeries to fix dead nerves in her face, trying to repair some of the paralysis on her right side of her face..  The orginal tumor was right behind her ear they were able to remove it without any damage to the nerves.. But two years later it came back with a vengous.  They had to cut some of the nerves to her face.  Oh I could set here and tell you all about each one.  But my point is this.. each time she went on the table.  They never ever gave her more of a 10% chance of coming off of it alive.  But they did not know Jesus's plan did they.

She will be 43 this year.  So the Lord has blessed us all with her for longer than any of the human doctor's ever predicted.   She set an example for never complaining no matter what life put in her path.  She has two children her second child was born mentally handicapped.  Even with the day to day struggle of caring for herself, the constant pain she endured from all the surgeries and the tumor's that continued to grow she met this challenge with the same grace and dignity as she did everything in her life.  Always knowing that the Lord would see her through.

My prayer this morning is this..

Lord we lift up to you my sister Cressa, you and only you khow what kind of spirit she is.  You and only you, know how precious she is to all that know and love her.  Lord thank you for allowing her to stay with us and grace our lives with her loving spirit, her laughter, her innocense,  and her strength.  Jesus we are asking that if it be your will to take her home, all I ask is that you comfort us that are left here to grieve her absense.  Her's Lord are hard shoes to fill.  But I know you can heal a broken heart and fill the emptiness that loosing a loved one can leave. But Lord if it be your will to allow us to have a little longer I ask you if you would make that time, painless, fill her life and home with love and blessing overflowing always keeping her wrapped in angel arms.  Lord I know all things are possible through you.. So we lay her at your arms, and leave her there for you know what is best for her, and that is what we all want.. I ask these things in Jesus name and for his glory.. A-men..

Thank you in advance for your prayers.

I'm sorry about your sister. It sounds like she has been through a lot. As I was praying I thought of the verse over one the Bible blog post (http://bibleblog.braveblog.com) from 2 Corinthians 1 that spoke to me when I posted it last night - 2Co 1:3 ¶ Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort

Hello everyone, I am here to ask for prayers for our Ann.

I called Scotland today to speak with her on another matter, but she had been heavy on my mind.. So when she answered and told me to call back because the police where there, John had gone missing.. My heart just sank..

I did not get to contact her again until just a few minutes ago. I had a doctor's appointment.

She said that they have found him.. Now the details are a little difficult to translate exactly, so bear with me.. She was so very upset that I would not have asked her to repeat them..

He is apparently on an island the access is difficult. I believe that I got that where ever he is that he has been given sanction. The police are trying to get him and bring him back and get him into the hospital.

She said that he is drinking on top of all his medicine and she is so afraid that he has gone there to die.. For those of you that do not know them John is Bi-Polar and this is only the second time in many, many years that this has happened. but for anyone who knows anything about this disease is that they have a tendency to stop taking their medications..

Now as horrible as this sounds, we all know that NOTHING is beyond our Lord's reach. He can do anything and conquer anything. Her prayer today is that the Police are able to get him and bring him back to the hospital.. I told her that would be ours for today.. So please join me in prayer.

Our Father we come to you today humbly asking that as we lift up your children Ann and John won't you please take them into you arms of love. Comfort them Lord we ask that you please restore John's mind and body to where it needs to be for him and the love of his life our sister Ann. Lord we nothing is beyond your reach and all things good are from you. Lord we ask that you put Ann in the arms of the angels that she might be comforted and given strength to do what needs to be done for both of them. Lord please bring John b

DEAREST HELEN,

WE SHALL STAND IN THE GAP FOR JOHN AND ANN AND STORM THE HEAVENS FOR THEM. I STAND IN TOTAL AGREEMENT WITH YOU IN PRAYER FOR THEM BOTH AND I KNOW ANN IS ALSO WORRIED ABOUT POOR LITTLE CHARLIE. COUPLED WITH THE INABILITY TO SEE HER SON AND GRANDCHILDREN AND HER ILLNESSES, I KNOW SHE COULD NOT COPE WITH ALL THIS WERE IT NOT FOR HER FAITH. I WANTED TO CALL HER BUT I KNOW YOU ARE KEEPING IN TOUCH AND I KNOW SHE MUST JUST BE BESIDE HERSELF. AND I'M SURE YOU HAVE TOLD HER WE ARE PRAYING FOR THEM. WILL WAIT FOR THE NEXT UPDATE AND KEEP PRAYING.

NOW I COME TO ALL WITH YET ANOTHER PRAYER REQUEST. I GOT A PHONE CALL A BIT AGO. MY OLDER DAUGHTER CALLED TO ASK PRAYER FOR THE FAMILY OF MY LITTLEST GRANDCHILD'S BEST FRIEND. HIS DAD WAS JUST INJURED BY A ROADSIDE BOMB IN IRAQ. THEY THINK HE WILL SURVIVE, BUT HE IS GRAVELY INJURED AND HAS A TERRIBLY LONG ROAD OF REHAB AHEAD OF HIM AND RIGHT NOW IS IN TERRIBLY PAIN. THEY ARE GOING TO FLY HIS WIFE TO WALTER REED HOSPITAL AS SOON AS HE ARRIVES THERE.. PLEASE PRAY NOT ONLY FOR MICHAEL ANTHONY, BUT FOR HIS SON JOBY, DAUGHTER BELLE, AND WIFE JESSICA ANTHONY. I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE AND ASK THAT YOU AGREE WITH ME IN PRAYER.

OUR DEAR FATHER GOD, WE COME TODAY TO ASK THAT YOU HEAL THIS BRAVE SOLDIER WHO HAS BEEN FIGHTING FOR US. PLEASE REACH DOWN YOUR LOVING ARMS AND COMFORT HIM AND ALL HIS FAMILY LORD. WE KNOW YOU ARE THE GREAT PHYSICIAN AND WITH YOU, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. AND WE ASK THAT ALL THEIR NEEDS BE MET THROUGH THIS TRIAL. I NEVER CAN TALK TO YOU FATHER, WITHOUT THANKING YOU FOR YOUR SUPREME SACRIFICE FOR ALL OF US. I LOVE YOU, CHRIST JESUS, AND THANK YOU ALWAYS FOR OUR BLESSINGS. THESE THINGS WE PRAY, AMEN AND AMEN.

LOVE TO YOU ALL,

BELLE

Dear Friends, by now it's no secret that I almost died in October with a foot injury and then caught a staff infection!!! 4 operations later and one skin graft and with prayer circle's and the amazing Dr. Harold Vogler, who never gave up on my life...said I will not take off his foot nor leg...yes, as Helen, knows it was life and limb, now it's my turn to pray for others the many many people that prayed for me and prayed for my life. While I know members in my band are angry with me, because I'm NOT on the road with them, I say, hey I've had 30 amazing years with the band, and that when the lord and the Great Spirit give you another chance for a higher purpose, then it is whas it is....Disco Music is not my entire life. This being said, I celebrate the glory of my new beginning my new rebirth and now I'm able to set an example to those in need, whether I know you or not. Dear Felipe,
AI hope you dont mind my intrusion. My name is Maria and i live in Ireland.I wrote you by snail mail when you were ill,i didnt realise how ill you were at the time but i felt compelled to write.Thank God you are better.Life can be so hard and cruel. As I read the postings from contributors to your prayer circle I feel an empathy that unifies all of us: the fear of loss or the impending loss of those we love or who are very ill.In the space of three years I lost my grandmother, mother and had 2 stilbirths. You never get over it,rather you learn to cope.Prayer has been the most powerful source of comfort and solice to me.The ending of a particular prayer has helped me accept that death is not final(far from it):'Death is an horizon and an horizon is nothing but the limit of our earthly sight.'
The rest of the prayer i will send to you and your friends but cant find it at the moment.Hopefully all the loved ones prayed for on you site will, with the help of God make a good recovery, They will certainly be in my prayers and thoughts.Felipe, you have been blessed with a kind heart and a genuine concern for others which gives them strength to bear the unbearable.
God Bless you and the members of your prayer circle, with prayers and good wishes to all of you from across the water, Maria

Felipe, thank you so much for this lovely venue for prayer needs and thanks for your responses to our prayers and needs. i have sopken to your father, introduced by dear Helen. I wanted to send an update on some of my prayer requests. Michael Anthony is now in Walter Reed Hospital, and the army flew his wife out there. He had wounds all over his body from the bomb and a pretty huge cut on his forehead. He is expected to survive, but has a long road ahead of him. His worst injury is a venous one to his leg. They thought of amputation, but have been able to save it. He has many injuries and as I said, much rehab ahead of him. My daughter's mother-in-law is home from California and they stil don't know if she had a TIA (mini-stroke) or tripped an fell, hitting her head on the concrete sidewalk. But she is doing well. I thank you all for your dear prayers.
May GOD richly bless you all.

I know the angels of the Lord will surround him and heal his ills and give you the strength to conquer all your goals and give you peace of mind, mind and spirit, as you are a wonderful man with a beautiful soul. God bless and keep you safe from all harm and protect you always. I will go to hear your dad's wonderful music. I haven't been on very much these past few days, as I had an inner ear problem that kept me from moving around without getting too dizzy. It's much better now, as God has been healing me daily. I am grateful. Please do take care and know that you are loved and thought about in prayer always. Love and Hugs, Joanne

Dear Felipe, thank you for you prayers and words of kindness. Although it was a little while ago i pray to my departed loved ones every day because i know they are with God. My heart goes out to all the members in the circle who are worried, hurting and going through the utter torment of feeling absolutely helpless as their loved ones are suffering- but their is something that can be done and that is to pray. Never underestimate the power of prayer and the comfort and inner peace it brings.I had occasion to meet with some of your soldiers serving in Iraq last week at Shannon Airport (where their planes refuel),alot of them were so young but what struck me most was how as a group they were so happy and carefree and didnt seem to worry about their difficult task ahead - and then the penny dropped with me:being in a group gave them their strength just as your prayer circle gives to all who belong to it. Felipe, setting up this prayer circle is a wonderful thing and no doubt gives a lifeline to its members. I pray tonight for everyones intentions but especially for Belles Michael Anthony. Meeting the soldiers at Shannon was an experience that I will remember for a long time to come. My daugher and I shook so many hands that day.God bless them all and may he bring them back home safely after their tour of duty.Maria

I AM INCLUDING MOM'S LATEST LETTER. MY HEART JUST BREAKS FOR THEM ALL AND I AM PRAYING MY HARDEST FOR THEM ALL. I KNOW HEIDI IS HURTING BECAUSE SHE CAN'T BE THERE ALL THE TIME WITH THEM. SHE IS ALSO IN MY PRAYERS.

Good Son-day morning, Felipe, Helen, Joanne, Ann, Carolyn, and all our blessed prayer warriors. I am here today to let all know I stand in agreement with them in prayer for Mom Verna's Kenny. I pray for them all and their whole family during this time of trial. They are such wonderful, beautiful, believing people who I have had the pleasure of meeting in person. They are just as they appear on the web, genuine Christians of great faith. I pray GOD's will be done, but I am believing he is stepping in here. Alone with my well-wishes for Kenny, I pray that Mom doesn't get down herself with worry and frustration with our health system. They had pretty much not given Mom much hope, because they felt Kenny is too weak to withstand surgery and that radiation and chemo would make him so ill. They have since found that the cancer has not spread to his vital organs and are reconsidering surgery. I believe we must now direct our prayers to that end, that he can be surgically treated and hopefully cured, and that he can withstand surgery. I believe she said they go for that consult the 16th of this month. So please, continue your prayers for them all.

Carolyn, we are praying for your daughter's breast biopsy to be benigh. We will be storming the heavens for her also. Please keeps us updated, we care.. GOD bless you all also in your time of trial.

Ann, I am so glad there is so good news about John making progress, but it is so upsetting knowing how he has been treated. Thank GOD Mark has stepped in. I pray GOD comforts both of you and sends him home to you soon. I know you have been through these same things before and it's a source of constant worry and frustration for you. I know how you love John and need him to be whole, for himself, and for you, my sister. May GOD richly bless you both. And I am praying for your dear little fur baby. I also know how difficult it is for you to care for them by yourself. I just hope and pray your life can return to

After a fail attempt for paid up a small matter in Richmond, Va. for 2003, I had to finally fire my ex-accountant and have a wonderul one, near me the next town over. While the dollar figure was huge, after my accident, I realized, that you can always replace money, what you can't replace is your family, your friends and yes, your pets, I love mine, don't you? So, as we embrace the Spring and the rebirth of our trees and flowers, let us hold dear, the important things in our lives, and that is YOU !!!! Without us, there can be no love, no smiles, no committment and laughter, and YOU to be there for someone else. I was thinking in writing to everyone, how funny that this page doesn't have any music on it? Humm should we send out a little prayer for Maizy and her little friends to help Helen put up something that can go along with our small reguest. In ending, I find that my accident was not an accident and that everything that I have gone through, I would not take any of it back, or regret. A special prayer to my long time friend...Don Blanton for his mother Alice, Don is the inventor of the giant jumbo tron...in Times Square in New York City of the Panasonic Board, if anyone has seen it. Also, Don and I's long time friend Dick Clark is is very ill and is still hanging in there. Love and Light!

Helen, Ann, Linda, And all the ladies I know thru the group my prayers are with all of you and know that I will keep you all in my daily prayers. Felipe I have seen and heard so much about you and your Father from Helen. I am glad to see that the Lord has worked so well in your life both in you ministry here and with your health. Please ladies I ask that you lift my business up in your prayers. We are not doing so well right now do to the economy but I am blessed each day to open the doors and continue to operate another day. Still a little prayer would be greatly appreciated. My biggest fear is that we will not be able to continue to do our charity work here in our little part of the world. I have always tried to give back when we made a profit..lately I have not been able to do as much as I would like to do. Anyway God Bless everyone and in Jesus name have a Blessed Day...Linda Ann o:)

Dear Sister Linda, I will add you to my prayers, I have a few friends in the same situation, the housing market here in Asbury Park, New Jersey, it unreal, more for sale signs than ever before and in fact we've lost 2 mom and pop stores that were here for over 35 years, hang in there and realize that your giving has to also extend to giving to yourself. For we know that what ever happens, when one door closes another opens, and in life the more we look inside ourselves, the more we realize, that in life all we need is a dressing room, hope I can at least put a smile on your face, and thank you for my DAD and for your kind prayers and words. Stay in touch!

Love and light!

Both with materials and carpet for her home. the Lord blesses those the give of themselves so freely. Hello Everyone,Maria from Ireland here. Just to let you know that I pray for all your inentions every day. I have a daughter who is diabetic and its not under control at the moment. She has gone on a couple of pilgrimages to Lourdes in France and always comes back feeling wonderful. I am hoping to go there myself this year. If you would like me to put your petitions in the box of hope at the grotto, it would be my honour to do so. We in Ireland have our own place of pilgrimage, Knock shrine, and the peace and serenity there is nothing short of beautiful. If you ever decided to visit the shrine you would be most welcome to stay in my home. I am a teacher and in Ireland we are on vacation from june to september so i am freed up.
Felipe, I hope your dad is on the mend, (his music is beautiful). His flute has a similar sound to our own Irish tin whistle, its a small instrument and fits into a back pocket with ease. I am sending you one in the mail and you might pass it on to him.I am so glad that you are taking a break from touring, You may have healed on the outside but the trauma you suffered will take longer. Allow yourself to indulge in rest and things that you like to do. Sometimes we need to lay down our tools and reflect. Ten 10 years ago today I had a stillborn baby (the first of 2), I'm very emotional today and will be glad when it today is over.
l realise that I do not know you as well as you know eachother and am probably the latest member to join, (Well I hope I am a member!)but the strength you give to one another is immeasurable. God bless you all, maria
P.S We get alot of visits from Americans looking for their Irish roots, Its the opposite with me! I am searching for my American roots, my dad was from conneticut, my Mum was Irish. I am so proud to be able to say that I am at least part American (the good part!), Maria

Hello everyone, first off I want to say, THANK YOU JESUS! For Carolyn's daughter's miraculous report! Oh Jesus you are so awesome! We can't put into words how much we love you and are so grateful that you stay so close to us always. And Maria, please know that your daughter will be placed also on our Prayer List in our groups..the more prayers the stronger we unite with God and the closer HE walks with us. I know you and Helen will have lots in common with being Irish. lol She is a wonderful human being with so much love in her heart...I don't know how she does it. God love her. Felipe...thank you for being so close to us and saying so many prayers for all on this site. I pray your Dad is doing better and yes..Maria is so right, his music is wonderful! You Felipe...take care of yourself, you are an amazing warrior of Chirst and we all need you to be happy and healthy with us. God bless you sweetheart! I will ask for one prayer request this evening, my niece and her husband are trying to purchase their first home. She has an 8 mo. old and a 4 yr. old and she works so very hard at being a good mom as well as working outside the home nightly in a big trucking company as their biller. Please say a prayer that she finds the right home for her family and soon. THe money she is paying for rent is truly outrageous and having a home would be so wonderful..at least it will be theirs and the money she puts in will be for the children's happiness. I know that doesn't sound like a real important prayer request with all that everyone is dealing with here but she truly deserves to have her home and is a very loving and caring mom and wife. Her husband has sleep apena and gout, but works hard daily then takes care of the children while she works nights...they are trying to save money to buy their home and they have been looking for a year now. So I ask that you say even a little prayer for her and I thank you all in advance for allowing me to come here and ask for

Dear Mary S. and Mary o donnell and Helen, I'm praying this weekend not only for you three and all our friends in the circle, but now my friends Joann and Lois their mother and my friend Ms. Ceil went into the hospital yesterday. She is strong and fiesty, but her spirit is strong, she was in a minor coma and is out of it...but for 92 years old, what can I say. By this point I would be ready to go...this life of hours deals a bad card for many many people around the world, what can we do but keep the faith...I guess. While I know that all this is new to me, regarding my own personal experience and now walking again without a can and now this weekend got my left foot into a new sneaker...Italian...hey what can I say...though it hurts...I have to think of those less fortunate than me. So, tonight this Sunday night I will be praying for all of us...including Helen aka Maizy who was not feeling well this week, but is also a warrior, to her I take my hat off to her for keeping all of us together. Good night to all peace love and light....Blessing Felipe

Hello everyone,
I recieved an email from Mom Verna and talked with her a bit on I.M. today. They have received very bad news and on the day before her birthday at that. Her birthday was yesterday. They went to the oncologist Tuesday and have been told they can do nothing for Kenny. The cancer is in the lining of the esophagus and has reached his liver now. They suggest hospice. I know Mom wants to be with him all the time, but this is so very hard on her. I don't know the way things work in California. Here, they sometimes come to the house, sometimes patients are admiited to a standing hospice. Mom says he is very restless at night and she feels she must get up when he does because he might fall. They are giving him ativan now which she said helps some. But she is so weary and concerned. And I know she doesn't want him to suffer. She is heart broken and cries so much. Kenny's son and daughter have been there as well as Mom's daughter Jackie, and Heidi is either on her way out there from North Carolina or will be shortly. I gave up trying to copy and paste what she wrote and my prayer, so I will say a new one, asking you to agree with me in prayer for the whole family. I thank you in advance for your prayers for my beautiful adopted mom and her family.

Our dearest Father in Heaven. We come before you today asking that you just reach down with your promises, your loving Grace, and loving arms to hold this family close and comfort them all. We know you are the Great Physician Lord, and we also know they will be done. Please don't let Kenny suffer and we ask that you shore Mom up so that she is able to deal with all that she must. She is one of great Faith we know, but she needs help to sustain the strength she will need to get through this trial. We also ask your blessings on the children and grandchildren in this family who love Kenny and Mom Verna so very much. Strengthen them and comfort them also so that they may help Mom and Kenny. These

Mary O donnell...yes, thank you I received the package and have to now forward it to my dad. He's working on a headdress from me. I start rehearsals in June with the group. Presently they are in Brazil, then to France. I plan on returning on July 5th at Mohegan Sun, for a few shows, then slowly back into it. However not for the full time as they do it, I will be in limited engagements. Giving me blessed time to be in touch with you and Momma Verna, Helen and Belle and Ann Lister, and though we need right now for the next week is pray for Kenny and Mom Verna, I'm here for you...call me get my number from Helen, Helen and Maizy were there for me, since the end of last year, So, my prayers to Kenny and hey I'm taking ativan, it calms me down I call it better living through chemistry however I feel that if he can't be safe at home, he will get better care at a nearby hospice or caretaker, Jacki, and Heidi I hope you made it there safely. I'm in prayer, please friends, lets pray for Kenny and Mom Verna. Much love and light! Felipe

Dear felipe and friends, these are some of the prayers my daughter and I say for you all each night but especially for Kenny and Mom Verna.I thought i'd put them here and maybe you might join me:
Watch o Lord with those who wake, or watch or weep tonight and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend your sick ones O lord God, rest your weary ones, bless your dying ones, soothe your suffering ones, pity your afflicted ones, shield your joyous ones and for all your loves sake, Amen (st Augustine)

You'll never walk alone:
When you walk through a storm hold your head up high and dont be afraid of the dark, at the end of the storm is a golden sky and the sweet silver song of a lark. Walk on thru the wind, walk on thru the rain, tho' your dreams be tossed and blown, walk on, walk on,with hope in your heart and you'll never walk alone, you'll never walk alone.'

Please tell Mon verna and Kenny that they are not walking this alone but have the love and prayers of all of us and of my family here in Ireland. God bless them both and give them strength in their hour of need. God bless you all and keep you safe, Maria

Hello all my Felipe, all my sister's and friends, I'm so sorry that I haven't been here much lately, as I have been working on our groups prayer list and of course I am behind once again...and it did not get out as I had plan on the 1st. But believe me it will be out soon.

Also we have been having some personal problems here at home that I am really praying hard for..because at this point, I don't know how to handle them anymore. God will give me a light, an answer or guide me I know..He always does. Just want you all to know that I am also praying very deligently for Mom Verna and Kenny as my heart truly goes out to them. My father passed with cancer it torn both my sister and I apart emotionally as well as physically, as we did all we could to make him happy and comfortable...for as far as that goes with the illness.

Also, I wanted to say to Felipe, that I wish you all the best of luck on your new upcoming tour, and will be praying that you are well, strong and able to handle all that you do. Thank you for being with us and for this wonderful site, and for all your prayers, God's many blessings to you and your Dad...and all those you love, as you are so loved too!

I will be back as soon as I can, just wanted to stop by and say...I love you all!

Hello everyone,
Please Help!!! We need your Prayers and everyone else's that you can think to send this email to!

A few days ago, one of our church members' 5 year old son, little Ashton Young, was critically injured when he was accidently run over by a bulldozer.. He is in the hospital in Shreveport,La. and has already undergone 3 major operations, one to repair his little backside(his bottom) which was literally torn off by the dozer,, one to repair and put a plate in his pelvic area, which was crushed, and one to repair a hole that had been torn in his intestines.. And now tonight , he is going to have to have about half of his liver removed.....

The doctors are amazed that this tough little guy has survived thus far... One of them made such a remark to Ashton's mother, Danielle. He said that most other children couldn't have survived such trauma, he said you must have alot of prayers being lifted up for him.. She said you are right, we do..... But we need more!!!!! So Please ,,, Pray,Pray.Pray!!!! We know God answers prayers daily sometimes, moment by moment...

The family is staying at a place that is kind of like a Ronald McDonald house so they can stay close to the hospital when they leave to rest..

The hospital has asked for blood to be donated in Ashton Young's name.... There is a Huge shortage and they had to drive to Arkansas to get 3 pints of blood for him the other night.... Also , our Pastor opened an account for them today at Community Trust Bank ,,, the account is listed as "Robert Spicer and Ashton Young account" The family will be given a debit card to use when they need things. And of course, for medical bills.

Little Ashton is in a drug induced comma, so thank God he is not in pain.... The doctors say they will keep him in this state for a month, then if all goes well, he will be in the hospital for another month. Hopefully he will be able to walk again as there was no spinal injuries, which is a miracle in it

Hi everyone,(wed,May 7)
I was deeply saddened to read Helens last 2 entries(Ashton and Glenn) and I have added them to my list for prayers. Please let us know if there are any changes Helen,in the meantime all we can do is pray and hope.May God shine his light on them and help them.
I am also praying for those who lost their lives in Burma last weekend. It seems to me that it is always the poor who suffer most when these terrifying disasters happen. Felipe, I am so glad you are taking it easy, travelling from one distant place to another must be incredibly exhausting at the best of times and with the seriousness of your injuries you are wise to hold off going back full time, the best of luck with the tour, no doubt it will be great! You say that your dad is making a headress for you. He must have great skill.I hope that these wonderful skills are passed on to the younger ones as part of your beautiful culture. The place where I live was famous for making lace by hand, no one can do it now - its done by machine, its regrettable.I pray for all of you tonight and hope that our prayers will be answered for all the people who are suffering and in pain whether that be mental or physical. Hi to Joanne, hope things are going better for you,I have been praying that things will get easier for you on this crazy rollercoaster we call 'life'...and Helen, if I win the lotto I will bring ALL of you over here for at least a month! We have peace in the north of Ireland now, thank God! love to all, Maria

Good morning everyone Maria thank you for always being there to pray for the needs of those here in this forum. It would seem that there are so many in thie World that are facing some kind of crisis in their lives. Maybe it is the times in which we live. Today is the services for my cousin that went to be with the Lord on Monday the 5th. I ask that we all please pray for the Lord to be with them all, comfort and heal the broken hearts. Please continue to pray for my Uncle Bob, as his days here on this Earthly plane are few, the Cancer is winning the battle. I ask the Lord to please make it a peaceful crossing for his wife and children, that are there with him. He is my Aunt Frankie's baby brother. I know that they Lord is the only thing that is holding her up right now, I pray that he continues to do so as she faces yet another loss in her life. Since 2003 out of 6 siblings, there are only 3 left. Too many to quick.. I know that all is in the capable hands of our Lord God, and I too will find comfort and peace there..

Thank you all for always being there for me and being the wonderful loving people that you are..

You all are in my prayers as we start this Thursday morning. The sun will rise and a new day is born.

Love , Hugs and Prayer to all.

Dear Sisters and friends...wait my baby cat kimba is on my shoulders....okay, she thinks if she's higher up she can see more...what a simple and wonderful life of cats and dogs. They are there unconditionally even when we think all is lost...what is this world coming too? I ask our heavenly father to pray for not just Mom Verna and Kenny, but my dear freind Helen has had a tragic loss in her family, sometimes I wonder if it's a calling...I know in my heart when you take yourself before the lord, in my heart I think maybe he's too busy taking and saving...in other part of the world over the weekend...in Maynmar they lost 100,000 people, when he takes one or thousands perhaps it's a balance...what I do know, that having a place where we can all go, here eases the pain and suffering for so many of our friends and family. With the tragic death of Belle Eights at the Kentucky derby and my news of my step mom with breast cancer, I spoke with her, and she's ready to go in on May 20th and have her operation, she's also a warrior..though sometimes she and I buck heads...but I love her and will pray for her for my dad, as he would be lost without her. Here is something for all of us to think about? How about picking a day of prayer either this month or next...and on that day we will all be on line together praying and either perhaps calling one another? Let me and Helen know...as our leader is in need herself. I ask our heavnly father to look out for all of you...I ask nothing in return for me...for I have seen the world for 30 years, 8 times over...still there is nothing like home. I prayer....Love and Light Your brother in christ name Felipe

My heart sank and broke when when she told me her cousin went to be with the Lord, he was so young, so loved and yet..we all have a time and day..and the Lord only..knows when that is..we reveal in the peace and thoughts that he is now with Jesus and will never feel pain, suffering or ill health again. In the arms of Jesus, is where he will stay. Amen! My love and Prayers go out to Mom as this loss has been way too tramatic for her. God watch over and protect her and keep her safe. Amen!

Also, I have been praying for a peacefull and painless passing for Helen's Uncle Bob...and most especially for his wife. She is going through one of the worst times of her life to know that she has so little time left with her loving husband and still..must keep her strength up to care for him at this time. God be with you both and along with all our prayers we send tons of comforting love and hugs.

And for you Felipe my dear friend, please know that I am praying for a miracle for your Mom..and Dad! I pray that the white light of the Holy Spirit enter into her body and remove all the bad cells of her illness and replace her with only perfect ones so that she may know many more years of peace and happiness with your Dad and yourself..your is such a wonderful and loving man and needs prayers for his health as well, which I am sending up to Jesus for him always. I pray for you too my dear friend Felipe, that you will be blessed with much health and peace and that you will be able to continue to do all the wonderful things in life that bring you so much happiness to you and so many, many others. My love and prayers are with you and your famiy..as I have also added everyone to our Group Prayer List and I know now..that there are so many more praying for the same healings for

Dear Friends, I lit a candle yesterday on Mother's day for little Ashton, I received a blessing yesterday, my friend Ceil who is 92 years old was released from the hospital on Mother's day and I Joann and Lois got the day off from Kitchen as I cooked and made a Sunday dinner with friends dropping by to see Ms. Ceil. Yeah, she calls my name, even when I'm not around, if my smiling face is making her better, then thank you lord! Prayers this evening go out to everyone tonight, especially my friend Helen. My Dad in conversation says that we have to focus on all the good we have and not all the bad things happening to our family and freinds, and yes, it's bad everyday, but we're the keepers of the fire, so today I'm smiling and in mediation for everyone in our circle. Much love and light! Felipe

I usually do my own prayers, but I am lost right now. I went out with my daughter over the weekend for my 70'th birthday and mothers day Sunday. I had two drinks after not drinking for over 3yrs. I feel so lost as I know the lord didn't care for that action. I guess what I need to do is ask for forgiveness and pick myself up and start again. A bible verse just came to me "Physician heal thyself" so I guess he is still talking to me, that I didnt do to much damage. He knows how sorry I am. Thank you all for being here:P

Dear Charlotte welcome...and it's okay to fall, know that you have friends here with our sisters...and Helen, Joanne, Maria, Kay in California, Momma Verna and Kenny, and you are in our prayers...I am saddend with loss today, that I lost my dear friend Ceil...92 years old today at 5pm, Michael grandmother, who I just met a year ago, last week after visiting her in the hospital, the first thing she said was 'WHERE IS FELIPE" this Sunday she was released and we celebrated MOTHER'S DAY, I cooked a Mother's Day dinner, and with Joanne, Lois and King, their adopted special needs son and their friend Philip and good friend Roz, we enjoyed our dear love Ceil...sadly she went back into the hospital yesterday and we lost her today...what I have is honor to know her and that she celebrated her day with love ones at home. I guess I will be singing at the service...and please pray for me to be strong for all of them....she now joings her husband in heaven and her dog pepper who left us two months ago...also pray for my good friend Jill, who sadly cannot drive up to Connecitcut, she has to see her father Tony in the hospital, the one thing I do know, as I spoke to Helen today, is that I have an angel looking down over me...Dear Heavenly father, please watch over all of us, as we come together in prayer...as Maria said...YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE...it was the song that I sang in our graduation in the sixth grade...thank you for remembering the lyrics...I will have to record it...Helen and Momma Verna keep the light on...I will be back on line in a few days...Love and light to you all! Dear Felipe and all my good friends. I have just read Felipe's last posting and I am filled with tears and sadness on hearing of Ceil's passing. She is at peace and reunited with her husband and pepper but her passing will be very hard to come to terms with even knowing that.Felipe, God must have inspired you on mothers day to cook dinner and have her over with family and friends. Its plain to see how much she loved you and you loved her.You did so much to make her happy and she appreciated that. I wish i wasnt so far away that i could attend the funeral and give each one of you a hug but i will be doing that in my prayers and reflections. Felipe, i hope you do record You'll Never Walk Alone.i think that it cold be the prayer circles motto becaues no matter what, we are here for one another, although not always physically, WE ARE ONE IN PRAYER.I will get a mass said for Ceil her family and all of us.She will always be with us and in our prayers.I hope Jills dad is ok.Helen,I think of you every day and pray to God to give you strength and healing. My address and fone number is on an earlier posting if you (or anyone of you) ever need to talk .I continue to prayer for everyone including Joann, verna and kenny. To Charlotte, Felipe is right, the person who has not done something wrong has yet to be born. Please dont feel angry with yourself or torture yourself with guilt, instead maybe you could do something small( a good deed, nothhing major)and that will help you overcome your guilt.i do this all the time and it does help. Also Charlotte our God is a forgiving God and he may be upset with you for being so harsh on yourself. Sometimes we are our own worst critics.Let me know if it works, you have my prayers also and as Felipe said we will all help you through this. Felipe, I know you have a sad and heavy heart today and so I am dedicating special prayers for you, take good care of yourself my friend just as you have done for all of us.Love, hope and light, maria

Hello all, Felipe please accept our condolences, and please give Ceil's family them as well. I know your heart has a little empty spot in it this morning, as that it how we all feel when we loose someone that we love. But like I told you last night, you and all of her family and friends now have a bright guardian angel watching over them all.

I am going to include something that some of you have already read, but I cannot think of a better place to share it. In these days in which we live seems like everyone is facing some kind of saddness in teir life.. I believe that sometime the Lord allows us to experience saddness and trials to strengthen us for something down the road.. But one thing I know for sure is that he is with us every step of the way..

God Bless to all..

Hello All My Darling Sister's and My Dear Felipe,

My heart is so heavy today for all the sorrow and pain that has come to you Felipe and also those that loved and were so close to Ceil. She is smiling down on you my dear Felipe...she is smiling because you spent the last moments of her time doing something so special for her and bringing to her the love, respect and caring that you did for her..as you always did. She IS now your guardian angel, and she will be with you always. You have my sincerest condolences on the physical loss of your dear Cecil..but she is with you in spirit and will always be. Learning to live without a special loved one on earth is the hardest thing a human being must learn to do. I know...as I have had to learn to do that in more ways than one...sometimes it's not always because they go to be with the Lord, but that you have lost them in another way. So please believe me when I say that I know and understand what you are feeling right now...and also that I am sending prayers up for you Felipe and all those that love Cecil. Know to...that she loved you and that loved never dies. I will place you and all her loved ones and also Cecil on our Prayer List and know that you will find peace and strength in all our prayers for you and the family. My love and prayers go out to all who come to your prayer site, and I know God has a plan for all of us..and his love and care is unending.

Do take care of you for all of us Felipe..stay safe, and please do think of recording..We Will Never Walk Alone. That is a very beautiful song and I know that if you sang it..the emotion that you would put into it would be magnificent!

My love, hugs and blessings to all.

God bless you each and every one, you are a wonderful group of caring and kind human beings brought together by an incredible person whom i am proud to be able to call my friend.
Your sister in prayer and love, hugs to all, maria xx

As I wrote before my friend Zandra's granddaughter had visitation with her mother, who did not bring the child back. Now little 2 yr old Katrina is in custody of Children's Welfare Society. They found the mother with Katrina in rehab for drugs. They took Katrina away and was supposed to place her with her dad but instead they are holding her until the father can come up with documentation of custody. In the mean time the mother faces jail if she does not get Katrina back, this was the reason she took Katrina, to be able to remain in Rehab and not have to serve her jail sentence. The mother failed her probation after being released from rehab before.

As of Tuesday evening my friend's son was not able to get his little girl back. CWS (division of Children's Protective Services) has the child and will not return her. Multiple placements can traumatize a young child, but the CWS Caseworkers do not care. Please pray for the release of Katrina to her dad. Thank you!

Dear Felipe, I was so happy to see your posting today. I know everyones been praying for you and you have never been too far from my mind these last few days. Sometimes it is good to take time out to reflect and take stock. Recent weeks have been hard on you especially with Ms. Ceils passing. The death of a loved one can cut deep into your heart. When my babies died i forgot about the rest of the world,I forgot/couldnt/would't eat and wouldnt talk to anyone not even my family. Even when i went below 7 stone I didnt care because i wanted to die.Alot of time and healing had to take place before I was able for the world again.Modern medicine is very effecient at curing our physical conditions but our emotions and feelings need alot of time, care and love, something that modern medicine cannot give us.Life is hard to fathom at the best of times and that is why I value this prayer circle so much. For a long time i was not even able to talk about my loss, now when i log on here i feel i am among friends.None of this would have happened without you Felipe and i am eternally grateful to you.My brother mark had a serious operation recently and is doing well thank God, prayers are so powerful! My diabetic daughter has had a minor setback but is recovering now. Helen, my heart goes out to little Katrina, so young, so small, so vulnerable. She will be foremost in my prayers and thoughts.May God be good to her and reunite her with her dad. love to you all, love Maria

Dear Helen, Mary O, Joanne and Sisters of the Prayer Circle, greetings and let me just take a moment to thank you all for the wonderful words of encourgement and your prayers. Yes, the last week and a half was pretty rough. I'm please to say that Ms. Ceil's family has bounced back and we are in preparation of creating a Garden for Ceil. I will be buying a tree, not sure what kind, but I will find it this weekend. In Jeremiah 29:11
FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU," DECLARES THE LORD, " In times of need or worry or sorrow and even in prayer, I randomly read throughtout the good book my bible, I actually have four...there is a poem by Jill Wolf, that I love and will share it with you all.

Don't quit when the tide is lowest, For it's just about to turn.
Don't quit over the doubts and questions, For there's something you may learn.
Don't quit when the night is darkest, For it's just a while til dawn;
Don't quit when you've run the farthest For the race is almost won.
Don't quit when the hill is steepest, For your goal is almost nigh;
Don't quit, for you're not a failure
Until you fail to try.

Having read that, I of course have to look in the mirror and say okay now "Felipe, "Don't Quit," I have many people in my corner not just in prayer but near me at home, and last week they were very worried for me, including Helen, My friend Michael drove down last Saturday night, and dropped everything to make sure that I could pick it the pieces of me...and put myself back together again, like Humpty Dumpty! At last with all the encourgement and smiles and friends that I have, and Village People, expecting me to be on stage this July 5, I have to be strong and better than ever.
Although I'm only human! I now realize, that tomorrow there may be another test, for me, for each of us, and it is during those times, that we have to reach deep down and remember that it's not about us, it's about our loved one's that need us! Helen thank you for the

Dearest Felipe, oh sweetheart, I am so happy in my heart to hear that you have come to this time and are doing much better. We are ALL fighters, my dear one, and we are not quitters. That is why we endure and come out of our problems, illnesses and troubles better than we went in. Our prayers are an enormous help and answer to all that we are asking for of our Lord. They are so powerful and our Lord will come through for all of us. As I spoke to my loving sister Helen today..and its so true...He never said it would be easy...but, He did say, it would be worth it. My love and prayers are with you and your family always. God's many blessings to you and with your singing and the group. I look forward to hearing you do that once again. Stay well..safe and happy. Just know that we are all here for you and your family you are never alone. Have a blessed evening and smile...we all love you! Hugs and Prayers..Joanne

While I know that we're all busy, again I'm asking everyone can we pick out a date on the calendar next month, where we ALL can come together on a same day of prayer. I know that our praying together will be heard. Blessed are the rain drops that fall on the flowers, blessed is the sun that gives us light and warmth, and blessed our friends in need. Thank you again, and Helen my dear friend, take a deep breathe and breathe into your pain and remember I'm smiling for you. Your friend and brother in light, always, Felipe

We are behind you also in our prayers and thoughts everyday. You have wonderful friends nearby who love you very much. Helen is a wonderful person.I know your return to the stage will be a complete success (only wish i could be there!).You've had a horrible few months but thats all going to change. You are not a quitter. They say everything that happens to us is a learning experience and through the toughest crisis we grow closer to God.i sense this has happened to you Felipe, it certainly has happened to me.Tonight I pray for Janice and Randee and all our prayer circle members. Could you please ask Helen if Katrinas situation has improved? I really hope so, its on my mind alot and I hope that she is now in a loving and safe place with her dad.Yes, count me in when you decide what time and day in the month you want us to gather. I am 4 hours ahead of you timewise so when you let me know I can convert that to GMT and log on!The wonders of modern technology!I want, before I sign off, to make a suggestion and that is that we pray in thanksgiving for good things that happen to us aswell as saying prayers for the horrible things that test us because today i am full of thankfullness that despite many dark days you Felipe have bounced back. STAND TALL FELIPE ROSE and take some of your own advice - remember the Lyrics of a song?, a universal anthem that goes something like this: 'young man theres no need to feel down...'. take care all of you, much love, maria xx

Dear Maria, Joann and Helen and friend of our circle of prayer...Joann is a friend that helped me while in hospital, and sprang me out for Thanksgiving with my friend Michael. Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you with a proud sense of thanks, for ALL that you have given ALL OF US...and yes, it is not that we ask of you in time of need...but I ask you to bless ALL of us, in this time of thankfulness, for your love and light is what gives us the strength to go on. Today, Helen and I got to work and I donated a cultural Native Painting which I finished last night, and framed it and signed it for ONE NATION WALKING TOGETHER to have an emergency auction on e-bay to help ONE NATION WALKING TOGETHER, so that it may help keep their doors open, Urban Tersey and my Dad are working very hard to give back to many of our brothers and sister on reservations that have no food and no money, and very little. So, I ask for ALL of us to pray for them so that our Lord can shine his everlasting love on them as well. I need nothing, I'm rich with freinds far and near. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Hi everyone, tonight my family will add Nancy's mom to our prayer list here in Ireland. It must be very hard for the three of them right now, it seems to be one hard knock after another. Please Lord Jesus, give them comfort and help them through this difficult time.Give them the strength they need to overcome their illnesses and restore them to their full health.
I hope One Nation Walking together is a success, yes I've seen some scenes of the dreadful conditions on reservations and it is disgraceful in this, the 21st century, that any government would allow people to live in such abject poverty. I know very little about American History, so forgive me if I'm wrong but are'nt the Native American people the REAL Americans, the original owners of the land, until greedy europeans decided to plunder and pillage? I will pray for better conditions for these noble people. The greatest gift that can be given to them apart from food and shelter is education. It is a means of escaping the poverty trap but it is a disgrace that the most powerful country in the world would treat their very own people this way.It is shameful and probably contravenes all parts of the United Nations declaration of human rights. It must hurt you very much Felipe to see your people suffering like this and probably anger you too. I do believe that God made enough land, food and shelter for each and every one of us but instead of sharing, a few greedy people took most of it for themselves leaving nothing for others so whether thousands of people live or starve is in the hands of a few. Mans inhumanity to man sometimes reduces me to tears, life is short (too short) as we are well aware so while we share this earth with one another it ought to be mainly a pleasant experience. Everyone deserves to be happy and so tonight I pray for just that - happiness for those whose lives have heretofore been blighted by poverty, pain and suffering. Thank God that their are people like you Felipe, Helen and Jo

Dear friends in our prayer circle, thank you for sending papers for my step mom Nan and for her mother. I spoke to my Dad yesterday and he is strong, and in a positive spirit, I would like to extend our prayers to the families of the boy scouts lost in the tornado in Iowa, and to all the people who are lossing their homes to all the rain, it will be a long road to recovery, and also to the construction workers also killed during the dreadful storms out in the midwest. What ever the lords mission is, I want to only say, that he takes the ones he wants, so in this need of prayer today, I ask him to help me understand, the taking of lives, that don't make sense, and to lift the families going through this difficult time. Dear freinds, Joanne, Helen, Maria O,and all of our warriors in prayers...my heart is saddened today with the water in Iowa and the many people who have lost their homes in the flood waters, tonight I pray for them, I was shocked to hear that Tim Russert, journalist and newsman passed away today while working in Washington D.C. many of you may know him from MEET THE PRESS, I had the privilage to meet him during a Village People concert for John Walsh of America's Most Wanted, and spoke to Tim after the fundrasiser has he not only loves the Village People, but is a huge Bruce Springsteen fan, coming down here many times to Asbury Park, New Jersey to hear Bruce perform at our convention center. I pray for his beloved wife and his children and his father whom he loved very very much. Today is a sad day in America, with the floods in Iowa, the starvation on our Native Reservations and with Mr. Russert's passing. I kneel in humilty and in prayer for those in pain and in tears...Dear friends, when sorrow comes, I believe the lord knows our grief, and hears our prayers, He comfort us till heartaches cease, He is our strength, He is our peace, and is our peace. Amen, Prayers, to my friend Brother Kevin Young who lost his father a month ago, today I recieved a letter from him, telling me for his lost, for my Native Brother and friend...Many faces, "O-si-yo!"...I pray for you too. Hello everyone, and I join you tonight Felipe in prayer for those that are facing some kind of trial this day. It would seem that it everywhere, floods, fires, death and distruction at every turn. But I know that through our Lord's love and guidance we will come through this too. Please keep my family in your prayers as they are still mourning the death of two family members in just three weeks.. My husbands step sister she is in drug rehab, one of my brother's who is still facing court issues, my precious sister who is still battling cancer, it would seem the list goes on forever. But to me the gift of prayer is the greatest gift of all.

To all the prayer warriors out there, thank you so much for all that you do, to lift those that are feeling down and alone. Since my eyes have been opened to the plight of the Native American Reservations and the horrid conditions in which they are living, I will do all that I can to reach out and help bring attention to this issue. Please pray for One Nation Walking Together as they are in the infant stage of their work. I am sending angels from Heaven to watch over you all as you sleep.. Love and hugs to all

Helen,You have had such a difficult time, I pray especially for you and all your immediate and extended family.I pray for healing for your sister and that things work out for your brother and your husbands step sister. Its alot for you to bare but dont think you are alone because you have people who care praying for better times for all of them.I know its hard to be strong all the time when your at breaking point and wondering how much more you can take. But please know that you and your intentions are being prayed for every day here in the country of your ancestors.Love to you, Felipe, Joanne and all others in our circle, maria

Dear Friends in our prayer circle, as I pray for Nana's mom and the good lord to keep my Dad and our family well, I am saddened by more bad news, Last Thursday we, the Village People lost our good friend and attorney...Bruce Webber, I will post Bruce's mom address, tomorrow is the funeral and while our spirits were dampned by the wondeful news that we're receiving a Star On The Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, I can't help think that Bruce and our beloved the late Glenn M. Hughes the biker are looking down on us with smiles on their faces. To the late George Carlin and his family, I wish them all solice and peace, and I know in my heart, that their spirits are all together in heaven, probably around a huge round table with Tim Russart, they all home. As for the rest of us, this is truly the test, this one life of ours, and it's important to embrace each other and all our friends and families and pets, and relish it, like it's our last day. Many thanks to everyone, for e mails and your postings, this is becoming quite the club. Much love and light! Felipe

Dear Felipe, I am so sorry to hear of your friend Bruce's passing but as you say he,Glenn and your friend George are looking down from a better place.May God be good to them.
May I say that I am delighted that you and the boys are receiving a star on the hollywood walk of fame - LONG overdue! I feel very proud of you as I am sure all our circle members are.It will be a beautiful day and a tribute to Glenn, you and all the boys who gave us so much!Have a great time, your Dad must be SO proud, I hope he is well and your stepmom. You are so right we should embrace one another and look after eachother because we never know the time nor the hour. My grandmother gave me some sound advice many years ago:'never let the sun go down on your anger even if you are really angry with some one because if anything should happen to them and you hadnt made your peace with them you dont get a second chance'.Mind you,it took me a while to get the hang of it but I've had plenty of practice and am getting better! I am always delighted when you mention pets they are so important and bring so much joy to our lives unconditionally.I have 6 cats that i am crazy about, one isn't well at the moment. To Helen, Joanne and Steve I want you to know that I continue to pray for your intentions. God bless you and help you with his love and guidance.Keep safe and take care, love,Maria p.s. Big hugs to you Felipe I am so proud - you are one amazing human being x

Good Afternoon Felipe and all my dear prayer circle friends and family,

Oh Felipe, my heart is so heavy for you in the loss of your friend and attorney, Bruce Webber. Please except my deepest condolences. What you said is so true honey, they are all gathered around a table, and learning more about one another, and yes, it would have to be...Tim Russert...he also was an amazing good man and I am saddened by the loss of his presence here too...and also George Carlin. Please know that my prayers are with you sweetheart, and that I will place your dear friend also on our Prayer List coming up the first of July.

Treating people good while they are here and being big enough to say you are sorry, is the most important thing as always.

I have to tell you a little story, if you wouldn't mind hearing it. I hope you don't mind. It has all to do with saying I'm sorry!

My Dad and I had a very funny relationship, he loved me I know..but, I never felt it if you know what I mean. He had been through WWWII and was wounded and was in a hospital away from my Mom for the longest time..almost a year. I was two years old at the time, and my Mom was pregnant with my baby sister..(we are two years apart). When he was finally released and sent home, my Mom was due to give birth not long after...since he wasn't there for two years with me, he always felt allienated from me, and when he saw my sister as a new born vowed to not let time pass with her and spent all the time he could with her, meanwhile I was growing up with someone I didn't know...my Father. I tried all my life to be the kind of daughter he wanted me to be and to stay close...but nothing I did seemed to please him. My sister was the apple of his eye. Now, I am not placing blame on either of us..I just think that the timing was all off for both of us. But, I could knock myself out trying to please him and make him love me...but I learned later in my life, when I grew up to be a young lady...that you can

(Cont.) can not make someone love you! The long and short of my story not to bore you but to finish the ending...the day before his BD and Father's Day that year...we had words he and I. He said something very hurtful to me and thought it was funny. I became angry and for the first time in my life, I answered him back and said what was on my mind. The next day...I made a cake and was about to go over with the children and some gifts for him when the phone rang..my niece was hysterical telling me to get to the hospital that my father had had fallen with heart failure. I ran out of the house and sped over in the car and went right to the ER where he was...the priest was just coming in and I thought I would die too! I fell to my knees and screamed in pain and with a broken heart. But nothing I would ever say or do would bring him back...as he was already gone to be with Jesus. Believe me it has taken me years to get over this...and still there are days that I don't know if he has ever forgiven me or heard me...though I know through my faith that he has...and I have to stop myself and ask God to forgive me for not believing what HE has taught me throughout my life.

So in closing...I have learned my lesson the hard way.

As for your STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOOD WALK OF FAN Felipe!!!!!!!! OH WOW!!!!!!!! How very exciting...Dad must be estatic!!!
Congratulations my dear one!!!!!!!! Marie is right...it was loooong over-do!!!!!

My love and prayers are with you and all our friends and family here in our beautiful prayer circle.

Hope this one goes through. :(

Many Miracles and Blessings

Hello. I usually stay quiet with my prayers, but I want you all to know you and yours have my support.
...and I know someone who needs prayers very much now. His name is Donald Tittle. He was manager of a local supermarket for many years, and always fair and kind to everyone he met. I learned what happened to him today from a former employee who spoke with him last night... His wife left him and their 3 childern for someone else, got a restraining order, came back and hit him with a frying pan(!), called the cops saying he hit her getting him arrested, and while he was in jail, she cleaned him out... of everything. He lost his job because of the arrest, and now is left with nothing and no way to support his 3 children. Please add him and his kids to your prayers, they need the help to get through this trouble.
This with all else going on in the world... makes me feel very small, but toghether the small become something big and strong.
Thank you o:)

Many of them are not using their full potiental in life, as I write this e mail In Africa, hundreds of women and children are killed, such a sad time, but, our Lord has a plan, and he's probably too busy, taking care of the entire world. Many blessings to everyone. Love you Helen and all your uplifting funny e mails. Love and Light,

Oh Felipe, that was such a heartfelt prayer. Thank you for that and all your prayers always. Yes, times are getting quite hard on so many people. Yesterday while I was visiting our grocery store, I saw a man with a shopping basket filled with bags from the store, and thought God Bless him that he is able to afford all that he had purchased. But, when I came closer...I saw that the bags were filled with his belongings, and that he wasn't shopping at all...he was homeless. My heart bled for him. I gave him some money in hopes that he could buy some food to eat. The night before, my husband..while working, saw something similar...a man walking down the street with a sign, that said he was out of work and hadn't been able to find another job, could you please help. My husband was so taken and upset as it was a bitter cold night...so he put him in the car and took him to dinner and gave him some money hoping that would help to keep him warm for the night with some coffee or whatever he chose to drink. He didn't tell my husband where he was sleeping and then he just left. When my husband returned home, and told me about him I immediately prayed for him and asked God to keep him safe, as I did the other gentlemen I encountered and all the others that are in the same situation all over the world. I thank God for all of you and your love and concern for all of us always. I asked him to watch over, protect and heal each of you...to keep you all warm and fed...so that you can continue, as we all try to do...to help and pray for all...and reach out our hands to each other and all those who need us. Amen!

Have a blessed day my dear sister's and brothers, and know that I love you all so very much and that you all have a special place in my heart.

Love, Hugs and Blessings

Joanne thank you sis you are an angel right here on this Earth. So many times I see these people, but I am ashamed to say that I never have stopped to do what you and your husband did. I suppose I am too filled with the world and am part of the croud that does not take it on faith that this person is truely in desperate need. For that I pray for forgiveness. I know the Lord tells us to treat strangers well, for you never know whether or not that might be one of his angels testing our love of our fellow man. You are a blessing in so many people lives, I know you are in mine.. I love you dearly, as I love all our sisters and brothers in our cyber family..

I wanted to share this prayer that I recieved from Tics this morning.. I shared it with the groups but I would also like to share it here. It is one that I need to say every single morning of my life..

Today's Prayer

Dear God, You know my heart, and my heartaches. You have showered me with blessings, and carried me through the valley of pain, and sadness. Thank you for the godly influence of special people in my life. Thank you for those who pray for, and encourage me. I even thank you for the hard times, and trials, I have been through, for they have strengthened my faith, and given me special friends. I praise you for giving me a spirit of hope, love, and acceptance, rather than allowing me to become angry, bitter, and downcast. I praise you God, from whom all blessings flow. May I, in return, be a blessing to you, Father, and a joy to my friends and family. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Love and hugs to all reading this..

My Darling Sister Helen and All My Sister's and Brother's here in our Prayer Group,

I want thank you for all your kind words and sincere thoughts regarding what my husband and I.

Let me explain one thing...it is not always the wisest choice to approach someone because your heart tells you to do so, and because you feel love and compassion for them. My husband was beaten and robbed because he stopped to help an African American man on the road who was having problems with his car...he thought!

It isn't always wise...but you can't change who you are and what your feeling at the moment...I know. My thought is this...no matter what they do with your offering...whether they are being dishonest or underhanded like a theif in the night...I know in my heart...that I am doing it for ALL the right reasons, and whatever they do with it...is not on my concience. God knows why and what we do. But, I will say, that today...you have to be VERY careful of whom you approach. I keep telling my husband one of these days he is going to be truly hurt by one of these people he puts in his car and helps...it's dangerous...but hedoes it again and again.

I love helping others and giving them something to make them feel important in life too...but, hear me clearly my dear sister's and brothers..I personally...would NEVER put them in my car..nor let them in my home...I KNOW that sounds un-kind and un-Christian of me...but you never know what they have on their very mixed up minds. If I see them on the street as I did the other day...YES, I will help them...but that is a safe-place for me. God forgive me! I know my limits and I follow my instincts...and I am very careful. I've experienced one too many horrible times with my husband whose been hurt numerous times...and stories I hear all the time about those who will attack you just because of the color of your skin...which just happened to my husband's friend...he was beaten to a pulp and nearly died...just because he

Oh my gosh, my entire post was cut off! Sorry..now it makes no sense! :-( Sorry Everyone.

I just want to finish what I was telling you about the friend of my husbands, he is now out of the hospital, but his wounds and pains and back will never be the same. He was 57 years old and believe me..this is something he will never forget. They beat him to a plup because he was white and told him so. Now, he does not not want to return to work, as he is very afraid and lost all his confidence.

My Daughter just told me about an older man that works with her husband, who took his wife out to dinner, left her at the door and went to go park the car, he never came back. When she went out to look for him there he was face down in the snow beaten horrifically.

So my point in telling you this is, be VERY careful who you approach and who approaches you. Not everyone thinks like us and I wouldn't want any of you hurt or worse, while trying to do a good deed...and neither does God. I love you all so very much you are all like my own family. Times are really hard right now and we never know who is going to harm us for something like money or your car or whatever. There are a lot of people out there holding up signs and walking the streets because they have lost their jobs and have families to feed and homes to keep. Believe me you will know who the right person to help is. God always speaks to you when He needs you.

Well..that is all I wanted to say my dear family. I KNOW our hearts are in the right place...and God knows who we are...so please, be careful whomever you are helping. Start in your own neighborhood...I know there must be friends and neighbors who are now out of work that could really use your smile, a loaf of bread or whatever you have to bring them. Those are the people that God wants us to help because they are part of our family community. Every little bit counts to those in need and suffering in silence.

I pray that our loving Heavenly F

Good Evening All My Precious Sister's,

I pray each one of you are well and feeling the love
and prayers that are being sent up for each one of your needs.

I finally have my email program working again, and can't
be more pleased to be able to email each of you this evening.

But, I am not here to discuss me. I am here to give you
an update on our sister Helen's sister, Cressa.
I just got off the phone with Helen, and she informed me
that tomorrow at 3pm her brother in law is going to be
at the hospital along with other family members who will
be there supporting and comforting him as he makes
one of the hardest decisons he has ever had to make in
his life...and that is to turn off all the life support machines
for Cressa. She is not responding and has no eye movement
and with all love and respect to her, they have decided to
let her go. As our sister Helen said, she believes. as well as other
members of her family, that she has already been met
by her Mother, (Helen's Mom)...and is in the arms of Jesus.

This was very heartbreaking news for me, and I can only
imagine from my experiences with lost loved ones...how terribly
hard this is for Helen and her family. This is the first time
she will be loosing a sibling, and so close to Christmas
once again. But, she also spoke of how terribly much her
sister Cressa has suffered and been deformed as well
as the loss of her hearing. My heart bleed as she spoke
just putting myself in her shoes, as I have only one sibling,
my only sister. I cannot imagine what pain ans suffering
this is causing her. She is very senstive and filled with
mixed emotions and I know that she has a long way
to go before she can accept the loss and the fact
that her sister will not be there to talk to or to be concerned
about any longer. She also told me that in her heart
she considers this a blessing for Cressa, as this child
has been through so very much, and each year she has
lost more and m

She also told me that in her heart
she considers this a blessing for Cressa, as this child
has been through so very much, and each year she has
lost more and more of herself to her illness.

Helen also asked me to request a special prayer for her nephew,
Terry, Cressa's son who is a special child, he is autistic, who does
not know exactly what is happening with his Mother, and that her
brother in law is going to find some private time to try to explain
this all to him. He is very attached to his Mother and God only
knows how this is all going to effect him. So, I ask that you
please keep him in your prayers and ask God to help him
understand the best that he can, and that he will be able
to digest this in his own special way and be strong enough
to carry on the best that he knows how, with the love and support
of his Dad and other family members. Please also prayer for his
Dad, Cressa's husband, who is carrying a very heavy load
right now...and whose heart is broken. This is tragic for him
and will be hard for him to handle for quite sometime.

Helen's entire family needs our love, prayers and support
right now, and I know that you will all open your hearts as
you always do...and send up prayers for each of them for
all their special needs and for all the strength that our Loving
Lord and Savior will bless them with as they all walk
this very difficult path.

Please join me in a prayer for this specil family.

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you send all your angels
in heaven to surround Cressa's husband tomorrow, along
with her precious son, and family...and hold them up as
they make this very difficult decison..one that no one truly
wants to make. It becomes so final. I know you understand
how heartbreaking it is to say goodbye to a loved one...and to
deal with life when they are no longer there.

The precious times spent together will be remembered, along with
memories that have been gathered between each of them through
the years.

This family knows, Father, that Cressa is in perfect arms..your
arms Lord, and that as her sister Helen stated tonight to
me...she will be able to dance and sing and speak and hear,
and be healed of all her disabilities as well the illness that she
has lived with for some many, many years...more
years than anyone should have to endure. But she is your
child Father, and she did this with a smile and a perfect
attitude...and not one ill word was uttered. She truly deserves
to be in your company..sitting beside your golden chair
in the company of her Mother and other lost members of her
family that will rejoice in her presence.

I ask that you place your loving
and strong arms around her son, Terry, Father and help
him through this heartbreaking crisis in his special life.
Help him to continue to grow in your love and understand
that she is now with You, Father. And, that he has not
really lost her but will see her one day again.

Go forth and surround this entire family, Father,
keep them well and strong...help them to carry on in their lives
as you have planned for them. Please watch over and protect
our sister Helen who needs rest and the strength to get through
this also Lord. She is worn down and needs you to be there
with her at this devastating time. I know that you will cover her

them well and strong...help them to carry on in their lives

our sister Helen who needs rest and the strength to get through
this also Lord. She is worn down and needs you to be there
with her at this devastating time. I know that you will cover her
with your robe and keep her close to your heart and shed
peace, light and protection around her and her family now.

I leave all these loved ones lovingly in your hands Father,
and ask that you please answer our prayers for this very
loving family. Hold them together and allow them to lean
on each other so that they may grow even stronger in
your love and mercy as a family. I stand on the power
of answered prayer Father, and ask this in your most
beautiful son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior's name, Amen.

I thank you all my darling sister's for praying with me and for
being here for all the needs and prayers that are asked of
you always. You are all loved and thought about and kept
in my prayers and the prayers of all our sister's here. You are
all a very special family to me and to each other.

I thank you also, for our sister Helen, who also asked me to let you
know that she will be away for a time...and that when she feels
strong enough she will be back with us again. Right now
she is going through too much to even speak, and needs this
private time to accept all that is transpiring and to grieve
with her family.

God's many blessings and answered prayers for each of you.

All My Love, Hugs and Prayer

Joanne

Thank you Joanne for this beautiful prayer for my family..

Love you all will be back as soon as I can.

Dear Friends, It has been a crazy month, I'm back, and reaching out to ALL Prayer Warriors, I pray everyone is well, and I will sit down to review all postings. I had 4 concerts with the Village People, since New Year day! Happy 2009~ though the shows were fun, I realized somehting was wrong, my foot was in pain, when I returned home, I headed to a podiatrist and found that I'm going to need corrective surguery at the end of the mont and be out for another 6 to 8 weeks....sigh-sigh-sigh, but when I return after rehabilitation, I'll be better than ever with a new bionic foot, well almost. I will keep everyone posted, and hope to hear from Maizy and sister Helen. Lots of smiles and hugs and much light,

Hi Felipe and friends, sorry for not getting in touch for a while but I have have a horrible flu and am just getting back to normal. I am so sorry to hear about that foot. Is this last years terrible injury creeping back again? I hope not but I know when you have it seen to it will be fine. These things crop up now and then just to test our patience, you will be fine with the help of God. Could I ask that you think of my daughter Lydia whose diabetes has gone out of control once again. It was great watching Mr Obama taking the oath to become your president. I believe this man is what the world has been waiting for for a long time. I pray today to God to mind him and his family with what must be the most difficult job in the world. Take care everyone. Maria xxx

dear prayer warriors, please forgive me...I'm back for only a moment, I've been touring with village people and before leaving for las Vegas, I just want to say, we have witnessed sadness and loss in the last 3 weeks, Ed Mcmand and the lovely american angel...farrah, and Michael Jackson, the elderly, the ailing and the sudden, they go in three, I truly beleive it's a crime to enable an addict and if it's true that Michael had assitance, then it's crimal. I had the honor of working with him, very sweet young man. Now, for at least some amazing news, my stepmom, Nancy is cancer free, praise the lord, although, now our soldier in the group, Alexander's mother, Marie, is not doing so well, please help with with prayers, she's never been the same since she lost her son, Jonathan in the world trade center. My prayers go out to everyone, and I will be back to read all postings, Love and light!

Dear friends, taking a deep breathe to say hello and try and catch up with everyone...I have fallen back into work and it has taken all I can....to catch up with my group. I was gone away from traveling and performing for a year and 4 months, and so much changed, airports got larger, people traveling lost more of their manners, many friends lost their homes and jobs and just things have become so hetic and so heart breaking! I finally had a moment to pray for sister Helen and I know that Joann has gotten married. I just finished dealing with the death of our soldier in Village People, lossing his dear mother, Marie Elizabeth Briley, the funeral was last week and all my prayers are now with the Dr. Rev. Briely, who lose his beloved lily of 59 years. Alexander is holding up and my DAD and Nana are doing okay! I just can't believe where all this time has gone, but, I've been also taking care of friends back at home and helping at the center. Please send a huge prayer out to the Briley Family, Michael's Family...mama and papi Guercka and a small prayer for me, and blessed to be back at work performing and being the best I can...Love and Light !
